Welcome to Kindergarten!
Week of 5/17-21
The Week in Review
It’s been another busy week in Kindergarten! We worked
very hard on our ABC books this week ,and students are coming close to
finishing them. Everyone has made such progress with sounding words out and
writing sentences! In Math, we talked about solid shapes like cubes,
rectangular prisms, cylinders, etc. and played a game exchanging coins for
dollar bills. In Religion, we continue to pray a Rosary every day, and combined
our knowledge of rhyming words with Religion by writing a poem about Mary. In
Science, we talked about animals and their body parts and how certain parts
help certain animals to live. We also talked about the life cycle of a
caterpillar/butterfly as ours should be emerging from their chrysalises any
day.
If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me either at school (388-8392 ), home (758-2162), or via email (nikkij@gmavt.net).
Have a great weekend!
