4th Grade

Welcome to Fourth Grade with Miss Baker!

Updated Sunday, 9/5/10

  Dear Parents,

We had a great first few days of school, and I am looking forward to having a fantastic school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns so far!

  Sincerely,
  Miss Megan Baker

4th Grade Homework Expectations:
·  All homework must be labeled with your name and the date in the top right hand corner.
·  Your homework must be completed in pencil and written in neat, legible handwriting.
·  Your homework should be kept in your homework folder so it is not wrinkled or ripped.
·  Please do not rush through your homework just to get it done. Take your time, and check your answers when you are finished.
·  Homework must be handed in on time in order for you to receive full credit.

Late Homework:
·  If you do not hand an assignment in on time (without a note from your parents), you will lose five points for each day that the assignment is late. You also need to have your parents sign a late homework notice.
·  If you are sick, please don’t worry about homework or class work until you are feeling better! I am always willing to send home a packet of work to you or to meet with you before or after school to help you catch up.

Incomplete Work:
·  I do not typically assign homework on the weekends, aside from long-term projects; however, if you do not complete class work in the time given during the week, this work becomes homework for the weekend. If this work is not handed in by Monday the next week, you will receive a zero.

Homework Help:
·  If you need help with homework, please do not hesitate to call me at home. I am always willing to help, and it is best for everyone if you understand your homework before it is due. I am also willing to meet with you before or after school to provide extra help, so please ask if you need it!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 802-238-9307 or meganbaker@saintmarysvt.org!
