Time: 6:30pm

Members present:  Diane Norris, Father Beaudin, Monique Almquist, Debra Cary, Christina Morana

Opening Prayer: Led by Father Beaudin

Approval of November meeting minutes:  Debra motioned for approval, Christina seconded motion, all approved.

Treasurers Report:  Debra reported that we have approximately $1700 available in our account.  Shaw’s receipts continue to be an important source of fund raising.

Pastor’s Report:  Father Beaudin reported that the appeal is going well and that we are ahead in contributions this year as compared to last year.

Principal’s Report:  Monique reported that Catholic Schools Week has been scheduled for the last week in January.  The final schedule has not been determined and Father Beaudin will reflect on how the Sunday service will be conducted.  Monique also reported on the following items:

·        Information night has been scheduled for January 6 at 7pm.  Grace Spadafora will be spearheading this effort.

·        There will be two Open Houses – one on 1/25 from 9 – 11am and one on 2/7.   These will be advertised in the Addison Independent and we will need bakers to help with the reception.

·        There will be 2 cross country ski trips this year and one snow day activity.  The Knights of Columbus will donate $500 toward the cost of busing and Terry Norris Photography has pledged to make up the balance.

·        We have one new pre-schooler registered.

Old Business:

·        Turkey Bingo raised $343 in food sales.

·        Thanksgiving dinner was a success.  Thank you notes will be written to Becki Treadway, Emily Stark and Amanda Barone for all their hard work.

New Business:

·        St. Mary’s Christmas Concert:  Michelle Collette is in charge of securing bakers for the reception.  The wreath auction will also take place at the reception.

·        Hot Lunch – It was suggested that we do this during Catholic Schools Week, perhaps on Wednesday which should be Pastor’s Day.  Monique will do the survey re:  Subway vs. pizza and we can decide after that.

·        Christmas parties are being handled within each classroom.

·        Michelle Eagan requested $300 to assist in her continuing education.  Christina motioned for approval.  Deb seconded.  All in favor.

·        Our next fundraiser (pizza sales) is in January.  Jenny Sheldrick will head this.

·        2010 Innisbrook sales will be chaired by Christina Morana.

·        Kathy Boe is heading up the Middlebury hockey concessions again this year.  More info to follow.

·        PTO attendance – We established a goal of at least one parent per grade in attendance.  Christina will call parents before next meeting.

Meeting Adjourned:  7:30 pm
