E.P. Field Trip
It was a glorious day on God's Green Earth, as the adventurers from St. Mary's E.P.
set out for a hike to the new River View Park on
Weybridge St. This new park was a beautiful place
for us to put to work some of the outdoor skills
we have been working on this month. We listened
and identified squirrels and birds. We observed
the wetlands ecosystem for frogs, spiders, fish,
and crickets. We even tried to guess the upcoming
winter weather by looking at the bands on woolly
bears. We did all this in a truly unique place right
in the heart of Middlebury. Following a picnic
snack prepared by Miss Dean, we walked back to
St. Mary's reflecting on all we had seen and giving
thanks for God's Creation.
